How do you make tea from a tea bag?

Yah, I realize how lame this question, but I've never been a tea drinker. I just bought some herbal tea from a pharmacist via the Internet and it came in individual tea bags. It says to make a pot of hot tea with it. I do not own a teapot. I am correct that I would cook water in a pot, say maybe a 2 quarters pot and then add the tea bag and let it set for 5 minutes? Do I have to press tea out of the bag? It also says that a tea bag can be used to make up to 3 pots of tea. Should I let the bag dry out then stick it in a Ziplock?

You have the right idea. It can not take five minutes to saturate the water. You should not use a Ziplock bag. You could just leave it on the kitchen table to let it dry. Just use water to remove any stains that evolves.
