How can I create black light for a pep rally for power? Windows in the gym is covered.?

I'm a happy coach and I am trying to gather a black light zing rally. The pep rally will be in the gym that has all the windows are covered with black paper. There will be elementary children seated on the floor of outlets so I'm trying to figure out how to create light so that cheerleaders and whoever else is doing will be "glowing." Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In such a situation, the best solution is to use halogen lights with UV filters, which of course is expensive if you do not already own spotlights and UV filters are not cheap (because they get very hot absorb visible light.) The next best solution is probably to use 4 'fluorescent lamps with 40 watt black light bulbs in them. You must either sit them on the floor in a row, or hang a series of not much more than leaders of the cheer leaders between audience and performers. You need to protect the tubes from direct view the audience with aluminum foil reflectors, because you look at Blacklight tubes for many headaches. The problem is that the cheerleaders will still be able to see what they do, and that small amount of light requires a black light be strong (spots), or close.
