What is the best way to get distinct from wall to ceiling and wall to floor molding?

Once you have textured walls? I try painters tape in the first game, I was free delivery with cardboard and failed to get paint on the ceiling and floor Moldings. Are there any other tricks to help me? Thank you.

Here is the procedure that I use with great success. 1. Caulker joint between wall and ceiling. Smooth Caulker with a wet finger. You just want to remove the "corner" and construction of texture and create a smooth line. 2. Paint the ceiling, Caulker and a bit down the wall (an inch or two). 3. Use painters tape (blue or green new stuff) to to tape a straight line along the wall / ceiling joint. Try to give way a bit toward the ceiling. 4. Paint the edge of the blue bands on the floor with the same color as the ceiling paint. It will "seal" the edge of the band, so the wall color does not seep under the tape. 5. Then paint the wall color over the same edge of the tape. 6. Let the paint dry. Most people say to remove the tape when the paint is wet, but I had better success when the paint is dry. 7. If the tape was too far down the wall and you 'm too much of a ceiling corner along the edge, simply repeat the process with tape up a bit more toward the ceiling. E-mail me if you have questions.
