King Size Bed – Size most comfortable pillows?

Our new king-size bed comes Sat and the few times in the past, I have slept on a king-size pillows, I was not impressed. Maybe brand / styles were not the best quality? Can anyone recommend some brands of comfortable king-size pillows, or make people w / king size beds using std size pillows for the sofa and king size bed in the dressing? Sorry if this is a really lame question, but I do not want to waste my $ $ Buy all sorts of extra pillows we do not need, especially this time of year. Thank you in advance for your help!

I think you should sleep on pillows, you are comfortable with. The only problem you may run into is if you buy king sheet set, you get a pair of pillowcases you can not use. If you'd rather sleep with a standard size pads, go for it. I have a king size bed and sleeps with the king pillows, but I want better standards and find the king pillows cumbersome.
