Is it necessary to acclimatize solid oak in a few days before the flooring?

We have solid oak floors, and we wanted to know how long it should be made, if necessary?

All houses are different. Heat, cold, humidity, and ya then. It is a very bad idea to just take it out of the box and put it down. I had professionals put my skirt, and it was the same, put everything down and let it become acclimated. Then they came out the next day to exit. They did it at night. I would say about 18 hours. But that is what they did, your experience could be very different from mine. I just know from experience that you should let the wood breathe and get used to your house.
